Subway Tournament

Subway Brunet is proud to have lent a helping hand to the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) / Champlain East towards reaching these goals by collecting over $230,000 during the course of the past eight annual golf tournaments.

The funds were used by CMHA to support youth education on mental health. Mental health promotion in schools means that students are introduced to various mental disorders, such as suicidal behaviour, depression, eating disorders, etc., and informed about their causes, warning signs, treatment options and available community resources in Prescott-Russell.

As you are aware CMHA / Champlain East relies on the financial contributions of all of us to support its mental health promotion education initiatives as this program does not receive any funding from the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care or other ministries.

As a result of the educational sessions with students, in this past year, CMHA / Champlain East was able to identify and intervene with 25 students who were either suicidal or had mental health concerns that needed to be addressed. Without your financial support, these students would have not been linked to someone who could assist them with their difficulties. CMHA’s interventions and mental health promotion initiatives do save lives.

The Subway restaurants owned by Pascal, Jacques and Christian Brunet are pleased to organize their 10th annual golf tournament which will take place on Friday, July 5, 2013, at the Nation Golf Course (Curran).
